Knova
Our vision

Knowledge dies in three ways.

And every growing company has all three happening at once.

01

It's never written down

The real answer to “why did we choose vendor X” lives in a Slack thread or was said out loud in a meeting, never in a document. It's knowledge, but it's invisible to every tool built to search documents.

02

It's written down, but nobody can find it

SOPs, policies, and project docs pile up in Drive folders and get orphaned within a quarter. Search returns keyword matches, not answers.

03

It's written down, findable, and wrong

Last year's pricing policy is still sitting there, still indexed, still confidently cited — because nothing tracks whether a document is current, superseded, or authoritative.

Generic AI search has no access to a company's private chat history. Wikis and drives can't tell a canonical policy from a stale draft. Neither has a tenancy model to keep one customer's data from another's. Knova was built to solve all three at once.

The second brain

We think of Knova as a company's second brain.

Not a document-upload tool with a search bar bolted on, and not a learning management system. Both are components inside a larger product whose actual job is to make a company's collective knowledge as easy to query as asking a well-informed colleague — one who was in every meeting, read every document, and never forgets.

01Connectthe company's real systems — Slack, Google Drive, Zoom today.
02Ingestcontinuously, on a recurring schedule, not a one-time import.
03Filteran LLM decides what's durable knowledge versus noise.
04Organizeinto curated notes, each traceable back to its source.
05Answerthrough search, chatbots, training, and presentations.
Why now, why us

Built for the companies enterprise tools leave behind.

Glean and Guru solve pieces of this problem well — at enterprise pricing, for enterprise IT teams. That leaves the 50–500 employee company priced out and over-served: too big for a shared doc to still work, too small to justify a dedicated knowledge-management function.

We're starting with India's mid-market and building Knova alongside our first customers, not for a hypothetical enterprise buyer three years out. The roadmap — from trustworthy retrieval to stakeholder-grade dashboards built on extracted facts, not paraphrased prose — follows what they need next.

Investing, or an early customer? We'd like to talk.
